Position Summary Set up and operate a variety of grind room equipment for honing, lapping and grinding while working to close tolerances from complex drawings. Responsibilities * Use blueprints, sketches, or computer-aided design (CAD) and manufacturing files to produce precision metal parts within close tolerances. * Perform machining operations on fixtures and production jobs. * Setup and operate hone, lapping and grind equipment * Perform additional duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * This position requires either a US Person (as defined in applicable export regulations) or a non-US person who is eligible to obtain required export authorization. * High School Graduate or equivalent. * Experience in the setup and operation of related machining equipment, micrometers, bore gauge, digital height stands and air gauges a plus. * Working knowledge of a variety of materials, abrasive applications and wheel dressing procedures. * Ability to work within close tolerances on a variety of complex parts to meet production deadlines. * Understanding of/experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) is desirable.
