Position: Chef de Partie Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE WHO WE ARE OliOli® was our first pioneering project - a childrens museum that redefined play and learning by creating immersive galleries for open-ended exploration. Building on this foundation, we are now bringing Hoppi® - a new play destination for families - coming soon to a new mall in Abu Dhabi. Hoppi® is designed especially for children aged 2–8, combining active physical play experiences with engaging, hands-on exhibit zones. It is a space where children can play, imagine, and explore, while parents enjoy a safe, enriching, and welcoming environment. Hoppi® aims to be a beloved family destination in Abu Dhabi, adding joy, creativity, and playfulness to the lives of families. WHAT THIS ROLE IS ALL ABOUT The Chef de partie in Hoppi® will be to work alongside the other members of the kitchen team and the delivery of high-quality food and maintaining kitchen operations. This role will require culinary expertise, creativity, and attention to detail in producing dishes in alignment with Hoppi®s standards. The Chef de partie plays a pivotal role in the kitchens smooth functioning. WHAT WE'LL TRUST YOU WITH Culinary Excellence Prepare and cook high-quality dishes as per the menu and recipes. Ensure all food preparation meets the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality. Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new dishes and menus. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstations. Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations. Kitchen Operations Assist in inventory management, including stock control and ordering supplies. Maintain kitchen equipment in good working condition and report any issues. Execute food preparation and cooking efficiently during peak hours. Supervise and mentor kitchen staff. Assist in the development of food cost control measures Customer Service Work closely with servers to ensure prompt and accurate food service. Address customer inquiries and dietary requirements with professionalism. Ensure dishes are served at the right temperature and in an attractive manner. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE Essential: Previous experience as a Chef de partie or equivalent role in a culinary environment. Strong culinary skills with an eye for detail and presentation. Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced kitchen environment. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Punctuality, professionalism, and the ability to work independently. Passion for delivering exceptional food experiences. Willingness to engage with guests and explain menu items. Desirable: Experience with kitchen equipment and utensils. Previous experience in catering or a similar setting. Enthusiasm for exploring and experimenting with food. Certification in food hygiene or related areas. Availability to work during school holidays and occasional evenings.
