JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Laborer to join our competitive Hunter/Jumper training facility. The ideal candidate will possess a background in handling horses and animal care, with the ability to operate various types of farm machinery and equipment. This role requires physical stamina, the ability to multitask, efficiency, and communication skills. The Farm Laborer will contribute to daily farm operations, ensuring the health and wellbeing of the horses, while maintaining equipment and facilities. Please keep in mind that this job is physical and we are required to work regardless of weather conditions. All tasks are split amongst all of the workers. One person is not asked to do all of the following in one day.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous Equine experience is required.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment is highly desirable, but not required.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of care for animals and facility.
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a team setting
• Ability to work under pressure or in emergencies
• Reliable transportation and phone
• 18+ years old
