Compensation: $16.50 - $18.55 an hour Duties: Handling horses for sessions Assisting with events and camps Exercising horses Maintaining animal wellness Grooming animals Assisting with barn chores Feeding animals Knowledge of equine anatomy Report to ranch manager Assist with vet and farrier appointments Facility cleanliness Part Time Benefits Include: 401k Retirement plan with a 4% company match Fun company events Requirements 18 years or older Equine knowledge Long-lining knowledge preferred Ability and willingness to work weekends. Demonstrate sound decision making skills. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Salesforce. Ability and willingness to work in a standing position for long periods of time, in doors, and outdoors, during inclement weather. Ability and willingness to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time. Ability and willingness to lift, lower, push, carry, or pull up to 40-50 pounds on a consistent basis. Ability and willingness to bend, squat, stoop, and climb stairs on a consistent basis. Ability to treat all employees and clients in a respectful manner. Ability and willingness to assist with horsemanship camp, horse handling, and other ranch activities, as needed.
