About Us:
Pony Palace is a friendly and professional equestrian centre dedicated to teaching children the joys of horse riding in a safe and supportive environment. We cater to beginner leveled riding, for young riders looking to develop their skills.
The Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Children’s Horse Riding Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children, confident around horses, and capable of delivering engaging and educational riding lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching group and private riding lessons to children of all ages and abilities
  • Creating fun, structured lesson plans that build confidence and skill
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of both riders and horses
  • Assisting with pony care and stable duties as required
  • Organizing pony days, holiday camps, and riding events
  • Communicating effectively with parents and guardians

Requirements:

  • Previous experience teaching horse riding to children
  • Relevant equestrian qualifications (e.g., BHS, UKCC, or equivalent preferred)
  • A patient, encouraging, and fun approach to teaching
  • Strong knowledge of horse care and stable management
  • First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Safeguarding and DBS check (or willingness to obtain)

21 hours per week to include weekends and 2 weekday afternoons.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
