DESCRIPTION

Yargi Racing is currently seeking a highly experienced and capable Horse Trainer to join our team.
This is a full-time and ongoing position.
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 - 3 years full time professional experience in a similar role, or 2 years full time experience and a relevant qualification.
In addition the following will be required:
Knowledge and experience of horse training and handling methods specific to Thoroughbred Racing
Experience in track work, including riding timed gallops
Proven ability to train and educate young horses
Verbal and written communication skills of a level to take instruction and provide information
Ability to work in a team and independently
Knowledge of safe operation of all equipment and use of personal protective equipment
The position will be full-time with the salary above award in the range of $77,500 - $78,500 + superannuation
