DESCRIPTION

Cornish Group PL has an opportunity become available at Torryburn Stud in Torryburn, NSW in the full-time of role Horse Trainer/Breeding.

Duties will include:

• Overseeing daily care and supervision of horses
• Educating and preparing young stock for sale
• Early education of foals and weanlings
• Monitoring mare ovulation and pregnancy
• Assisting Veterinarians with ultrasound/reproduction examination including assisting in birthing foals and administering medical treatment to foals

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of industry best practice, with either international experience or a thorough understanding of the global bloodstock trends of the thoroughbred industry.
Suitable Applicant will have the following:
