Paid Time Off (PTO) Supplemental benefits (Legal/ID Shield, Colonial Life, Employee Assistance Program) 401(k) with company match On-the-job training Horticultural Service Technician Duties and Responsibilities Maintain plant installations on client sites, including watering, cleaning, pruning, rotating, fertilizing and Integrated Pest Management. Ensure replacement plants are identified and ordered promptly. Learn and expand an extensive set of horticultural skills through Plantscape courses and on-the-job training. Become certified to apply chemicals and pesticides as needed to plants. Regularly consult with an account manager to ensure clients are receiving quality service. Complete all required paperwork and submit it in a timely fashion, such as route sheets and inventories. Maintain positive relationships with client contact. Perform duties within industry and company safety standards. Log time in and out of accounts using operating system on a provided Android device. Requirements Horticultural Service Technician Requirements Valid Driver's License, reliable vehicle, and a clean driving record required Ability to professionally and effectively communicate with clients, managers, other technicians, and office personnel Willingness to travel throughout greater Pittsburgh area Ability to follow instructions, to work independently, and openness to feedback The ability to reach above head and to ground level The ability to occasionally lift 30 pounds and frequently lift 10 pounds, including above the head The ability to push a cart of up to 50 pounds Sufficient manual dexterity to operate hoses, tanks, and basic hand tools
