James Bird Landscapes, South Yorkshire’s leading garden landscapers and designers. Working across Sheffield, South Yorkshire and Derbyshire we design, install and maintain beautiful gardens for a range of clients.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in horticulture and landscape maintenance. As an Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced professionals, learning essential skills while contributing to various gardening and landscaping projects.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• Maths and English level 3 GCSE or equivalent desired but not essential.
• A genuine interest in horticulture and ground /maintenance.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices.

GOOD TO KNOW

• Full time
• 44hrs per week
• 07:30 – 17:00 Monday – Thursday 07:30 – 16:00 Friday
• National Apprenticeship wage
• Course duration - minimum 24 months

• Assist in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, including private and public-owned gardens.

• Always adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Develop knowledge of ground maintenance and plant care.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.
