Description

We are seeking a Horticulture Technician to join our dynamic production team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture and be responsible for the daily care and maintenance of our specialty crops at various stages of life cycle, from propagation to post-harvest. This role requires a commitment to following standard operating procedures and maintaining a pristine cultivation environment.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in a commercial greenhouse, indoor farm, or controlled environment agriculture facility is preferred.
  • Knowledge of plant science, nutrient management, and Integrated Pest Management would be a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision and consistency.
  • Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40lbs.
  • A proactive and collaborative team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have access to own transportation.
Responsibilities
  • Perform daily plant maintenance, including watering, nutrient delivery, pruning, and canopy management.
  • Assist with all stages of cultivation
  • Execute post-harvest processing, including hand-trimming, drying, and curing of botanical products to meet precise quality standards.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all cultivation activities, including nutrient logs, pest observations, and harvest data.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all cultivation areas and equipment in accordance with company protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Adhere strictly to all company SOPs and Health Canada compliance regulations.
