HORTICULTURE TECHNICIAN
–Location: Jerseyville, Ontario (must have reliable transportation)
–Compensation: $20-$24/hour based on experience
–Job Type: Full-time, Seasonal (April–November), winter work available

Responsibilities:
- Garden & Greenspace Care – Perform regular maintenance, including weeding, pruning, deadheading, cultivating, and plant care, ensuring landscapes remain vibrant and healthy. Perform spring and fall cleanups.
- Enhance Landscape Beds – Edge garden beds, apply mulch, and maintain a polished, professional appearance.
- Monitor & Report Plant Health – Identify and report plant health concerns such as pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies to maintain high-quality greenspaces.
- Scheduled Site Visits – Return to commercial and condominium properties on a biweekly basis to ensure consistent maintenance and care.
- Operate Tools & Equipment – Use hand tools and small equipment safely and efficiently to complete daily tasks. Training is provided for those eager to learn.
- Work as a Team & Take Initiative – Balance independent responsibilities while supporting and collaborating with teammates.
