We are seeking a skilled and passionate Landscape Horticulturist to join our team based in Galway. The ideal candidate will have experience in landscape maintenance and/or construction, a good knowledge of plants and gardening practices, and a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This role involves physical outdoor work across both residential and commercial sites in the Galway area.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience in landscaping, horticulture, or grounds maintenance
Good knowledge of plants and seasonal garden care
Ability to perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Full, clean driving licence.
Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates
Punctual, reliable, and able to work well as part of a team

Perform general landscaping duties including planting, lawn care, pruning, and weeding
Prepare and maintain gardens, green spaces, and outdoor areas to a high standard
Operate tools and machinery such as lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, and strimmer’s.
Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with health and safety guidelines
Clean up work areas and remove garden waste and debris
Work as part of a team or independently on assigned tasks
Liaise with clients and supervisors to ensure work meets specifications
