Description
Description We are seeking a Hose Assembly Operator to join our Production Team. The Hose Assembly Operator is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operation of our production line. This position performs multiple functions necessary to fabricate industrial hydraulic hoses; including but not limited to material handling, cutting, and packaging. The Hose Assembly Operator works closely with the production team to ensure that all products are produced to the highest quality standards. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Operate production machinery and equipment · Monitor production line and ensure that it is running smoothly · Cuts, coils, and packages hydraulic hoses per work orders · Performs quality control checks on completed products · Maintain a clean and safe working environment · Assists with inventory management and restocking of supplies · Follows all safety procedures and guidelines · Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements · Meet production targets and deadlines ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Complete all essential training within the first 30 days of hire. · Performs additional duties as assigned. Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High school diploma/equivalent Experience: Previous experience in a production environment preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: · Ability to read and understand work orders with instruction · Adherence to safety procedures and quality standards · Ability to meet production targets and deadlines · Able to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information · Good communication and teamwork skills Technology/Equipment: Knowledge of dials or other indicators to make sure machine is working properly. Basic computer skills for completing on-line required training. Physical Demands: Requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness, and muti-limb coordination. Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. without assistance and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs. Job entails long periods of standing. Mental Demands: Using standard mental and visual attention continuously, with occasional periods of continuous alertness and concentration. Hearing: The noise level on the Production floor is occasionally loud and frequently moderate.
