REQUIREMENTS

Essential

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Experience in mechanical, hydraulic, or hose assembly
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Understanding of safety and quality control procedures
  • Methodical approach to hands-on work
  • Proactive, reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

  • Understands, and can apply ISO requirements as necessary
  • Familiarity with aerospace or automotive assembly standards
  • Knowledge of hose pressure testing or leak detection methods
  • Use of torque tools, crimping machines or swaging equipment
  • Understanding of traceability and quality documentation systems (e.g. batch control, serial numbering)

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Hose Technician at ATEC UK, you will be responsible for the precise assembly of hose and hardline products in accordance with detailed technical drawings and specifications. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our products meet strict safety, functionality, and quality standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accurately read and understand engineering and assembly drawings
  • Assemble hoses and associated components to specification, ensuring all work meets customer requirements and internal standards
  • Use swaging and crimping equipment for assembly
  • Maintain clear written records of all components and materials used during the assembly process for traceability and quality assurance
  • Ensure all assemblies comply with ATEC’s safety procedures and quality standards, understanding the intended use of each product
