We are currently seeking a full time Hospice Aide to provide personal care services to our hospice patients. Schedule: Monday - Friday including rotating weekends; 8:30am - 5:00pm Location: Contra Costa County & some areas of Alameda County **MUST HAVE HHA LICENSE** Hope Hospice follows all CDPH vaccine requirements for healthcare personnel. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Assist patient in bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair as needed Assist patient in and out of bed and with ambulation Turn patient in bed, position for comfort, and change bed linen Assist with prescribed exercises as directed Education/Experience: Completion of an approved Home Health Aide training program. Experience in hospice or home health preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Completion of an approved Home Health Aide (HHA) training program. HOME CARE AIDE (HCA) CERTIFICATION IS NOT ACCEPTED. Current California Driver’s License and automobile insurance that meets State of California requirements, if driving a car.
