Join a team of physicians dedicated to providing exemplary hospice and palliative care in Louisville, KY with Hosparus Health, a not-for-profit hospice organization providing hospice care, palliative care, primary care and PACE services. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice and Palliative Medicine Physician (HPMP) to deliver care in both inpatient and home settings in Louisville, KY and surrounding areas. This unique opportunity combines the best of hospice and palliative medicine, allowing you to make a profound impact in the lives of patients and families at critical moments. The HPMP will provide expert palliative care consultations in inpatient settings at a designated hospital as assigned, deliver high-quality hospice care in community settings and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient and family needs. The HPMP will also serve as adjunct faculty for the hospice and palliative medicine fellowship, providing education and training for the next generation of physicians. Position Qualifications: M.D. or D.O. required. Licensure (or eligibility for licensure) for medical practice in both KY and IN, including DEA and controlled substance permits, required. Either fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine or a minimum of 2 years of post-residency medical experience required. Hospice, palliative care, primary care, hospitalist, or geriatric experience preferred. Board certification or Board-eligible with expectation to be certified within 5 years of employment required. Certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine preferred.
