We are seeking a compassionate, reliable Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patients in the Reading, PA, and surrounding area. This role offers meaningful one-on-one care and a consistent weekday schedule, providing a true work-life balance. Ensures compliance with agency policies and procedures regarding operations/processes, including but not limited to those regarding patient care, patient complaints, incidents, safety, and emergency management. Always maintains patient confidentiality, including all HIPAA regulations. Regulatory Requirements Licensed or registered in the state in which currently practices Must pass a criminal background check & MVR check. Completed health statements acknowledging the ability to perform the duties of the position. Valid state drivers license. Proof of current automobile insurance. TB testing per agency policy EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED Graduate from an approved training and competency course.
Responsibilities
The Hospice CNA will provide personal care and comfort to hospice patients, assist with daily living activities, and offer emotional support. They will also document services provided and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing team.
