POSITION OVERVIEW • Executive hospice leadership role overseeing operational performance, compliance, quality initiatives, and strategic growth • Leadership responsibility for fully staffed hospice branch supporting approximately 120 patient census • Direct oversight of budgeting, admissions, interdisciplinary team operations, and organizational development • Senior leadership position reporting directly to Governing Body • Huntsville metro location offering strong healthcare presence, rapid growth, and family-friendly community living COMPENSATION • Base Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 • 10% annual bonus plan SCHEDULE • Monday through Friday schedule • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM leadership schedule • Stable weekday operational structure ROLE • Oversee all operational aspects of hospice branch services • Lead interdisciplinary hospice team operations and organizational performance • Manage regulatory compliance, Medicare hospice standards, and quality initiatives • Oversee budgeting, strategic planning, and operational growth initiatives • Supervise admissions processes, staffing operations, and team development • Maintain high standards of compassionate hospice care and organizational accountability • Support branch growth, operational improvement, and patient care outcomes ENVIRONMENT • Established hospice organization with stable operational infrastructure • Fully staffed interdisciplinary care model • Executive-level leadership environment • Mission-driven hospice care organization • Community-focused patient care setting BENEFITS • Health insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama with 60% employer contribution • Dental and vision coverage through Guardian VSP Choice Network • 16 PTO days during first year • Paid holidays • 401(k) available after 3 months • Company-paid life, AD&D, and long-term disability coverage • Optional short-term disability coverage • Employee Assistance Program with 3 free sessions annually • Tuition assistance up to $2,500 annually • $150 scrubs allowance for new hires • Legal resources including will preparation services • Monthly cell phone allowance Requirements • Minimum 2 years hospice leadership experience REQUIRED • Bachelor’s degree REQUIRED • Master’s degree preferred • Registered Nurse license preferred and in good standing • Strong knowledge of Medicare Hospice Certification and hospice operations REQUIRED • Proven leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills REQUIRED • Experience overseeing admissions, compliance, budgeting, and team development REQUIRED • Experience building, growing, or improving hospice operations REQUIRED Not ready to formally apply?
