Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

In this vital role, you’ll work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to assist patients with personal care and day-to-day activities in accordance with their individual care plans. Your contribution will ensure their safety, comfort, and overall well-being.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Personal Care - Assist with baths, grooming, oral hygiene, and changing bed linens. Your attentiveness will make all the difference!
  • Positive Communication - Build trust and rapport with patients and families, offering a respectful and ethical care experience.
  • Safety First! - Ensure patient safety with proper use of equipment like footstools, side rails, and oxygen.
  • Assisting with Meals - Help with feeding, while keeping patients comfortable and safe.
  • Pain Management & Monitoring - Report changes in patient conditions or complaints of pain to the RN Case Manager.
  • Mobility Support ‍ - Assist patients with ambulation, positioning, and basic exercises.
  • Respite for Caregivers - Offer relief for families and caregivers, giving them time to recharge while you provide compassionate care.
  • Light Housekeeping - Help keep the patient’s living space tidy, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
  • Accurate Documentation - Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of all care provided, ensuring continuity and quality.
