Hospice Nurse (After Hours) Salary: $38.46-$42.79/hr BOE Schedule: Full-time| Fri/Sat/Sun | 8:00 PM-8:00 AM Location: Kettering, Ohio (surrounding area) Requirements of the Hospice RN role: * Licensed RN in the state of practice * A minimum of 1 year of Clinical experience * Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance Coverage * Reliable transportation, willingness to travel * On-call/ skilled nursing experience required About the RN role: * Provide skilled nursing care to patients in EOL, conducting visits in a facility and/or home patients. * Provide on-call services after hours, and complete scheduled skilled visits. * Responding to phone calls from patients and their families regarding concerns about symptoms, changes in conditions, or emergencies. * Conducting home/facility visits to assess patients with critical symptoms such as pain management, respiratory distress, or emotional crisis. * Assist RNCM in carrying out the plan of care. * Assist the Nursing team in performing specialized procedures( as defined in the state nurse practice act) as directed by the RNCM under the physician's orders. * Actively participate in the IDGH in collaborating to ensure the patient plan of care is kept current and identified issues are addressed. * Assist in the reinforcement of patient and family education regarding end-of-life care. * Assume responsibility for personal and vocational growth and development through active participation in nursing organizations and participating in in-service programs and other on-the-job learning. * Keep the RNCM informed of changes noted during the process. * Participate in self-development by practicing further education, workshops, and conferences, active in professional and related organizational meetings, and individual research and reading. * Assist with emergent visits including continuous care (CC) and companion care as needed. * All other duties as assigned Why work with Care 360 Hospice: * Medical, dental, and vision health Insurance * Paid Time Off * 401(k) Matching * Life Insurance * Growth opportunities NEXT STEPS We appreciate your interest in our Hospice After Hours Nurse position.
