VALUES: Accessibility, Integrity, Achievement, Supportive Environment Position Overview: The Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) at Tri-Cities Chaplaincy plays a vital role in delivering high-quality hospice care in the comfort of patients' homes and facilities. This position involves managing symptoms, supporting families, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered end-of-life care. Requirements Minimum Qualifications: 1. Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program. 2. Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse Licensure in Washington State. 3. Certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Basic Life Safety (BLS) 4. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, as driving is an essential function of this role. Must meet insurance eligibility requirements. 5. Must have reliable transportation and the ability to independently drive within Tri-Cities Chaplaincy’s service areas to provide in-home patient and family services and support in clients' homes, facilities, and community locations. 6. Excellent verbal and written communication. 7. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. 8. Moderate computer skills. 9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 10. Regular weekend availability and available to work on-call a minimum of two holiday shifts per year. 11. Ability to report to the assigned work location(s) as scheduled and maintain consistent, reliable attendance. 12. This position is designated as Safety Sensitive. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, which includes cannabis testing in Washington State. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree in nursing. 2. Bilingual in Spanish and English, with the ability to speak, read, write, and communicate effectively in both languages. Compensation Hiring Range:$37.67/hour - $57.22/hour Position Pay Range (or Salary Range):$37.67/hour - $71.57/hour Premiums: · $2.50/hour Weeknight · $2.25/hour Weekend day · $4.75/hour Weekend Night · $4.00/hour On Call Standby Note regarding the listed pay range: Hiring Range: The starting pay range offered to new hires, depending on experience and qualifications. Screenings: Pass criminal background and drug screenings. 8. Training and Orientation: Complete agency and departmental orientation and required training programs. 10. Continuing Education: Complete ongoing education, policy reviews, and training be designated deadlines. 11. Licensure and Certification: Maintain current licensure(s) and certifications(s) required for the role. 12. Language Proficiency: Read, write, speak, and understand English fluently. 13. Work Availability: Be available to work as assigned or scheduled.
