Description About the Role: Corus Health is seeking an experienced, compassionate Registered Nurse to join our hospice team in Albuquerque, NM. This is a highly autonomous position with a 7-on / 7-off schedule (Friday to Friday, 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM & every other weekend days/nights), offering a unique rhythm of deep focus and meaningful time off. Key Responsibilities: Provide skilled nursing care, symptom management, and emotional support for patients with life-limiting illness Triage and respond to patient needs during evening and overnight hours Work independently while remaining closely connected to the interdisciplinary team Communicate with physicians, families, and care team members regarding changes in condition Ensure accurate, timely documentation in accordance with agency protocols Covers incoming calls for Home Health, including triaging needs and making visits as necessary. Navigate in-home settings throughout Bernalillo and surrounding counties Adhere to hospice regulations and uphold the mission of Corus Hospice Requirements What We’re Looking For: Licensed RN in the state of New Mexico Minimum of 1 year of hospice experience required Comfortable working independently, especially during off-hours Strong clinical judgment and emotional presence Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Passion for hospice philosophy and end-of-life care Excellent communication and time management skills Why Join Us: At Corus Health, care is more than a service — it’s a relationship.
