The Admissions Manager is responsible for the patient assessment and administrative processes and admit patients to By the Bay Health service. This includes information interviews with patients and families, review of eligibility for the Hospice benefit, physician orders, patient assessment, processing of regulatory and organizational documents. The manager is responsibility for achieving organizational metrics. The position is expected to build and maintain optimal relationships with all referral sources in compliance with organization policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 5:00pm; AOC duties required Hybrid - 3 days required onsite Location: Larkspur By the Bay Health follows all CDPH vaccine requirements for healthcare personnel. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Provide direct supervision to both clinical and administrative staff to support the admission processes Provide informational and admission services to patients as needed Implement and monitor compliance with organization policies and procedures related to clinical services Oversee activity and documentation related to patient’s initial plan of care to ensure compliance with organization procedures Oversee supervision of admission personnel, completing written competencies, performance evaluations and skills checklist in accordance with organization policy, accreditation, and regulatory standards Education/Experience: Minimum of two years supervisory experience preferred, within the past seven years. Five years experience as a professional nurse from an accredited School of Nursing Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Current license as a registered nurse in the State of California Pay Range: $130K - $155K annually By the Bay Health is proud to serve our community as an equal employment opportunity employer.
