We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Hospice Nurses with experience in Oncology, Intensive Care Units (ICU) or Hospice to join our caring team. Key Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive hospice nursing care to patients in their homes or care facilities, ensuring comfort and dignity - Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and adjust treatments as necessary - Administer medications, manage symptoms, and monitor patient responses - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, social workers, and chaplains, to coordinate holistic care - Educate patients and families about disease progression, symptom management, and available resources - Document patient care activities accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards - Respond promptly to patient and family concerns, providing emotional support and guidance Skills and Qualifications: - Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida - Proven clinical experience in oncology, ICU or Hospice settings - Knowledge of hospice care principles, symptom management, and palliative care practices - Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team - Compassionate, patient-centered approach with excellent interpersonal skills - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for home visits Join our team and be part of a supportive, patient-centered environment that values professional growth and compassionate care. Requirements Work Environment While performing the duties of this position, the employee travels by automobile and is exposed to changing weather conditions.
