Volunteer Role Overview - Calhoun, Jackson and Gulf counites Volunteers play a vital role in supporting patients and families close to home. Volunteers offer companionship, caregiver support, Veteran recognition, and a comforting presence during an important season of life. No medical experience is required—just a caring heart and a willingness to give a few hours of your time. Volunteers are matched to opportunities that fit their schedule, interests, and local community. Comprehensive training and ongoing support are provided.
