Responsibilities: Provide companionship and emotional support to patients Offer respite and support to families and caregivers Engage patients through conversation, reading, or presence Communicate observations to the care team as appropriate Requirements Qualifications: Compassionate, empathetic, and dependable Comfortable with hospice philosophy and end-of-life care Strong communication and interpersonal skills Emotional readiness to support patients and families Related experience or volunteer work preferred Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation Note: It is recommended that applicants have not experienced the loss of an immediate family member within the past year.
