SUMMARY OF POSITION

To support leading linen management and healthcare customer experience, Ecotex Healthcare Linen Service is currently seeking a Full-time, Permanent Hospital Account Manager for customers in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

· Prior healthcare operations experience including knowledge of healthcare linen services and unionized environments
· Exceptional ability to develop strong working relationship through inquiry and listening skills
· Strong communication skills including ability to negotiate and build consensus
· Strong data analysis leading to action-oriented insights and recommendations
· Ability to exercise good judgement and sensitivity in dealing with hospital and staff information
· Ability to prioritize and successfully resolve issues with high sense of urgency and customer experience focus
· Strong attention to detail and follow through

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· University Undergraduate Degree or combination of relevant education and work experience
· Previous experience with developing and executing performance dashboards and presentations for healthcare stakeholders
· Previous experience with project management an asset

Responsibilities

In support of effective on-site linen management, the Account Manager will be responsible for the following key duties:
· Be the primary Ecotex contact for Hospital and Long-Term care accounts, developing and maintaining a collaborative culture and partnership with our clients.
· Understand and connect to the hierarchy of healthcare stakeholder influence and decision making
· Use exceptional communication skills to ensure day-to-day and long-term linen operations are met. Manage customer relationships with Hospital Support Services and Clinical staff through communication and daily rounding and client interaction.
· Proactively identify and recommend smarter linen solutions to clinical decision makers in support of improved patient care.
· Manage linen ordering integrity, utilization, and optimization across accounts.
· Support linen quota change process through cost analysis and Hospital approval protocols.
· Support the continuous quality improvement plan and acceptable linen quality standards.
· Identify and support the Hospital Product Standardization committee membership with regular product reviews.
· Complete monthly and ad hoc linen reports to ensure appropriate utilization and decision making.
· Complete quarterly customer service audits.
· Conduct annual linen inventory audits.
· Participate in monthly account performance and priority reviews.
· Manage customer service issues quickly and effectively.
