Job Details Job Location: Warwick Base - Warwick, RI 02886 Position Type: Per Diem Salary Range: $45.00 - $50.00 Hourly Job Shift: Day Job Category: Health Care Alert Healthcare is a healthcare company providing mobile and other healthcare services to residents and organizations throughout Rhode Island. We are currently looking for a Per Diem Experienced Registered Nurse to help fill our partnership for the Hospital at Home Program. This is a Per Diem- Saturday and/or Sunday (at this point in time) about 1-2 shifts per month available. (There is also a possibility of an on call RN position for weekends. Details and pay rate to be determined for on call shift.) Daily Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Daily Nursing visits to admitted patients in their home throughout the state of Rhode Island, Assisting with admitting new patients and discharging patients per providers orders. Nurse will be responsible for possibly providing the following during day to day visits- Lab Draws Medication Reconciliation Basic vital signs Patient Assessments Medication Administration Obtaining 12 Lead ECG Urine Collections, COVID/Flu/RSV swabs IV Medication Administration or Hydration Documentation for each patient encounter Other miscellaneous tasks within the RN’s Scope of Practice Must be willing to work independently in the community while still maintaining an open line of communication regarding patients, patient care and appointments with the Care Team and Providers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills and clinical assessment experience. Implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the Care Team. Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients, the care team and providers. Use reasoning skills and good judgment Qualifications Education, Experience, and Licensure and Hire Requirements: Currently licensed/registered in Rhode Island. Must maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment. Two (2) years skilled nursing experience required CPR certification upon hire. CPR certification must remain current during employment. IV Experience (obtaining and starting), lab draw and Medication administration experience required Obtaining 12 Lead ECG experience is preferred, but not required. Provide Immunization records (MMR, Varicella, TDap and Hep B) Provide Background Check Provide a clean Driving Record Complete a TB test and Fit Test upon hire Specific Job Information PAY- $50.00/HR for Saturday and Sunday Shifts & $45/HR for weekday shifts if available.
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will conduct daily nursing visits to admitted patients in their homes and assist with patient admissions and discharges. Responsibilities also include performing lab draws, medication administration, and maintaining communication with the care team.
