How you will make an impact
Cabrini Malvern is currently seeking motivated Hospital Coordinators to join our team in full-time, part-time, and casual positions.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key leadership role in a highly regarded private hospital, where you will oversee daily operations and support clinical teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
As a Hospital Coordinator, you’ll take on a vital leadership role in overseeing hospital operations during and outside of standard business hours. You’ll support clinical teams, coordinate patient flow, manage resources, and respond to risk situations to ensure safety and quality across the hospital.
This is an excellent opportunity for a current ANUM or senior nurse looking to expand their leadership experience and contribute to the bigger picture of hospital operations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide operational leadership across the hospital
  • Identify and manage clinical and operational risks
  • Support and mentor staff, including overseeing onboarding
  • Act as the senior representative on-site when required
  • Ensure resource allocation supports optimal patient care
  • Champion effective communication and team collaboration

About you
Cabrini’s Hospital Coordinators ensure the smooth operation of the hospital both during and outside of regular working hours. With their expertise and problem-solving abilities, they effectively handle challenges and emergencies, providing exceptional care to our patients. Collaborating with a team of experienced professionals, they contribute to seamless workflow and support Cabrini’s operational goals.

You will have:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • At least five years recent experience in a large, acute private hospital as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience as a leader or manager in nursing
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship development skills
  • Demonstrated skills and confidence in performance management, conflict resolution and negotiation
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and prioritise workloads
  • Demonstrated ability to manage human and material resources within budget
