Description The Food Service Worker performs a variety of functions and tasks pertinent to the production, service, sanitation, and distribution of food to both patients and employees. A Food Service Worker may work in various areas of the cafeteria department such as patient tray line, dish room, pots and pans, sanitation, cafeteria and storeroom. This opportunity is Full-time rotating shifts (6am-2:30pm, 10:30am-7pm) with rotating weekends/Holidays ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Ensures that proper food service is provided correctly to patients and employees. 2. Prepares and serves food in a safe and sanitary manner ensuring all safety and sanitation procedures are followed. 3. Follow the assigned cleaning procedures and cleaning schedules. 4. Cross train in various food service worker positions and assists in the proper training and orientation of new staff. 5. Other duties as assigned.
