This position is part-time (0.6 FTE), commencing as soon as possible for 12 months with possible extension Canberra Health Services (CHS) is focussed on the delivery of high quality, effective, person-centred care. It provides acute, sub-acute, primary and community‐based health services, to the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) and surrounding regions. More information can be found on the CHS website. North Canberra Hospital (formerly Calvary Public Hospital Bruce) and Clare Holland House are now run and operated by Canberra Health Services (CHS). This is a significant milestone as the ACT Government is moving towards delivering a new hospital on Canberra’s Northside. The new Northside Hospital will be built on the existing North Canberra Hospital (NCH) campus in Bruce. It will be a modern, state-of-the-art hospital for patients, visitors and its workforce and will provide more beds and increased services. Until then, it's business as usual at NCH, and we'll keep providing high-quality care to our patients and community. HITH NCH is a multidisciplinary inpatient unit providing acute medical care for patients in their own home. It is a progressive unit known for its multidisciplinary approach to patient care. As the CMO, you will work as part of the HITH multi-disciplinary team assisting consultants with clinical management of patients and applying medical knowledge and experience in the clinical diagnosis, investigation, treatment and ongoing management and appropriate discharge of patients.
