We receive referrals from specialties across general medical, surgical, rehabilitation, pre/post operative care, Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM) and Geriatrics. The Clinical Nurse holds a senior autonomous position, requiring proficient critical thinking and problem solving skills, along with the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities. Responsible for patient assessment, comprehensive care delivery and quality discharge planning. Communication is key to success in this role. To thrive in this role, you will have: Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve. Demonstrated proficient clinical skills in specialty areas relevant to HITH and understanding of the clinical context of care provision at home. Must have current registration as a Registered Nurse, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and an unencumbered Drivers Licence. You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining: A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
