Description

Our skilled nursing facilities are looking for a seasoned Hospital Liaison / Marketer. The Hospital Liaison / Marketer is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, and other referral sources to promote our skilled nursing facilities and drive census growth. This individual will represent the facilities in the community, communicate the benefits of our services, and ensure a smooth transition for patients from hospital to facility care.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Social Work, or related field (preferred).
  • Prior experience in healthcare marketing, hospital liaison, or admissions in a skilled nursing facility strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of skilled nursing, post-acute care, and rehabilitation services.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel between assigned facilities and hospitals.
  • Proven ability to meet referral and census growth goals.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with hospital discharge planners, case managers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to increase referrals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for hospital partners regarding patient placement in assigned skilled nursing facilities.
  • Conduct on-site hospital visits to evaluate potential patients for appropriate placement and ensure clinical needs can be met.
  • Collaborate with facility admission teams to facilitate a seamless transition for patients from hospital to facility.
  • Track referral activity, market trends, and competitor activity to adjust strategies and maximize census growth.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the facilities’ services, including skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and specialty care programs.
  • Participate in community events, health fairs, and networking opportunities to increase visibility of the facilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of referral activity, patient outcomes, and marketing efforts for reporting and analysis.
  • Provide education to referral sources and the community about facility programs and services.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary facility teams to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction for patients and referral partners.
