POSITION OVERVIEW Our Hospitalist team with General Physician, PC is seeking a Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join our large hospitalist practice in 2025. This is a team of over 80 providers. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, a strong team with an emphasis on our physicians and our patients. * In Bufalo, NY * Hospital is Buffalo General Medical Center, part of Kaleida Health. * Buffalo General Medical Center is our flagship site with 484 beds, all specialties except OB/GYN, closed ICU, about 15-16 per physician, census around 200 daily    * Schedule could be 7/7 or other option if available on the team * Full specialist support (Hospital has Residents/Fellows/Stroke Team/Cardiac Team) * Team of Physicians and APP’s (over 80 providers) * Strong leadership, mentorship * Current EMR is Cerner, moving to EPIC * This role involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, managing complex cases, and ensuring effective communication with patients, families, and other healthcare providers * Conduct thorough evaluations, including taking medical histories and performing physical exams * Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies * Respond to urgent medical situations and provide critical care when needed * Participate in code duties as required by the hospital KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide full-scope hospital services - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. - Participate in on-call rotation with a supportive group of physicians. - Maintain accurate and timely medical records using EMR systems.
