United Medical Park and Prairie Parkway offer outpatient care in facilities that are built for your comfort and convenience. Well established, 16 member team (16 Physicians & 3 Advanced Practitioners) and growing Excellent specialty support 12-Bed ICU with Intensivist Average census around 100 Telehospitalist service overnight Full-time night shift position 7p-7a Dedicated admitters and dedicated hospitalist nursing staff Blocked scheduling – 5 on 5 off Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination Responsibilities Manage 80-90 non-ICU patients in cooperation with 1 overnight Telehospitalist Observation admissions, inpatient admission, cross-coverage Physician runs codes and rapids with support from APP Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills Improve the health of the people and communities we serve Qualifications Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Board Certified Inpatient experience strongly preferred Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice Eligible to work in the United States We offer Competitive compensation package A competitive Total Rewards program offers benefits that align with your needs and priorities, no matter what stage of life you are in.
