The clinical teams at the area’s clinics are improving outcomes, lowering the number of hospital readmissions and reducing avoidable costs associated with treating chronic conditions. Hospitalists self-schedule 15- 16 shifts per month 12-hour rounding shift;s 7a-7p 10-hour admitting shifts; staggered: 11a-9p, 12p-10p, 3p-1a 6-hour admitting shift; 5p-11p Overnights; 9p-7a Open ICU with intensivist availability to consult Full spectrum of specialty support available Responsibilities Average census of 13-15 patients No required procedures; option to do some limited ultrasound procedures Hospitalists are primary responders for codes unless intensivist takes over Average of 30 admits per day Excellent work/life balance with flexible scheduling Qualifications MD or DO Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Wisconsin Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt) We offer Shift based compensation with performance incentive and wRVU kicker Attractive incentive package A competitive Total Rewards program offers benefits that align with your needs and priorities, no matter what stage of life you are in. Responsibilities
