Description:

SALARY:

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Honors Degree in Hospitality and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience of teaching Business, Hospitality and Food Technology BTEC International Level 3.
  • The ability to share your outstanding practice.
  • Interested in career growth, leadership, sustainability.
  • A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom.
  • Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents.
    The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching and learning, fully committed to making a difference to the lives of the students in their care and dedicated to the provision of the highest standards of education, supported by vocational experiences.

    A curriculum leadership role may be available, and candidates are advised to indicate experience and interest.

Responsibilities:

  • To plan, resource and deliver imaginative, interactive and inspiring schemes of learning and lessons that ensure that all students make excellent progress and attain at high levels.
  • To create a nurturing and stimulating learning experience and environment that nurtures students.
  • To maintain/establish extremely high standards of positive behaviour for learning across the whole school.
  • To provide stimulating and enriching extra-curricular/enrichment opportunities for students.
