HOSPITALITY DESIGNER (COMMERCIAL KITCHEN & BAR)

We are looking for a Hospitality Designer with a passion for commercial kitchen and bar design. Our ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience working for a design company specializing in Food Service or for a leading equipment supplier and be seeking a new opportunity to expand their skillset and grow their career.

As an active Hospitality team member, you would:

• Work closely with the Hospitality team members to design innovative Food Service solutions for a variety of projects through all phases (from concept through to opening )
• Collaborate and coordinate design details with other disciplines including: architectural, engineering, interior design, and graphic design
• Develop strong AutoCAD and Revit packages for coordination with design team, consultants, and clients
• Contribute innovative ideas & details to improve the quality of Smart’s drawing packages and specifications
• Foster and grow professional relationships with food equipment vendors, industry professionals, and client teams
• Be a member of the Food Service Consultants Society International (FCSI) and work towards achieving FCSI professional member status, as supported by smart_
• Must be highly organized and self-driven, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in design or architectural technology
• High level of proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• A solid understanding of construction drawing packages and specs
• Ability to manage multiple and competing work priorities, demands, and changes
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented team environment
