We an independant Toronto brewery with two downtown locations: our Bloor Street location with a restaurant, brewery and music hall, and our newly opened Kensington Tavern restaurant with adjacent production brewery. Hospitality Director Role
We are seeking an experienced leader for our hospitality operations across both Burdock locations. This is a senior leadership role with a focus on driving hospitality excellence, team development, operational efficiency, and collaborating with whole Burdock organization.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in restaurant operations, a deep passion for customer service, food and beverage, and a natural ability to foster positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support all restaurant operations at both Bloor Street and Kensington locations
  • Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and management of all hospitality staff
  • Continue and build on our culture of hospitality excellence
  • Maintain our high standards customer service, cleanliness, and facility maintenance
  • Oversee beverage program
  • Monitor and manage prime costs
  • Oversee inventory and ordering
  • Support events, live music programming, and private bookings

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of senior hospitality management experience
  • Strong knowledge of beer, wine, and beverage service
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
