Longwood Gardens is seeking part-time Guest Engagement Hospitality Leads to play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences across our operations. The Leads support a wide range of activities, including concerts, photoshoots, rental events, in‑Garden transportation, and other assigned guest-facing experiences. Responsibilities include: * Coordinating with staff to ensure full understanding of event logistics, equipment needs, program details, and required tasks * Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of all Guest Engagement operations, ensuring consistent, high quality service delivery while providing clear guidance to Guest Engagement staff * Coordinating seating teams, and resolving guest concerns * Overseeing coat check, transportation coordination, guest assistance, and general hospitality services * Escorting groups to designated locations, and ensuring adherence to guidelines and agreements while supporting overall guest satisfaction * Maintaining supplies, managing and cleaning equipment, and preparing operational materials for staff assignments * Supporting in developing, updating, and communicating Standard Operating Procedures The ideal candidate will possess: * A minimum of two years of experience working with public programs, seating venues, customer service, or similar guest relations functions * A valid Driver’s License * Ability to work an average of 20 hours per week, and primarily be available evenings, weekends, and holidays * Basic computer proficiency or willingness to learn operational systems, as well as participation in required safety and security trainings * Demonstrate strong expertise in assigned areas while confidently managing high‑volume, fast‑paced environments and handling challenging guest interactions with professionalism, tact, and sound judgment * Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in all weather conditions and operate golf carts and shuttles * Ability to lift items up to 25 pounds Longwood Gardens is committed to nurturing a diverse and inclusive environment that celebrates the complexities and differences of all living things.
