Restaurant Manager

Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum

Location: Aldeburgh, Suffolk

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join a prestigious 4-star boutique hotel with an award-winning fine dining restaurant in the beautiful coastal town of Aldeburgh.

We are looking for a passionate and hands-on hospitality professional with experience in restaurant management, fine dining, or luxury hotel operations. You'll lead the front-of-house team, ensure exceptional guest service, and play a key role in maintaining the high standards our guests expect.

Restaurant Manager Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
• Lead, coach, and motivate the front-of-house team.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and memorable guest experiences.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and senior management.
• Manage staffing levels, rotas, recruitment, and training.
• Monitor stock, ordering, and cost control.
• Ensure health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations are followed.
• Drive service standards and continuously improve the guest experience.

Restaurant Manager Requirements

• Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, or Food & Beverage Manager within a quality hotel or fine dining restaurant.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of food, wine, and premium service standards.
• A flexible approach to working evenings and weekends.
