Job Description Oversee day-to-day running of the Hospitality Service, including managing supplies, equipment, and facilities Review and organise incoming bookings and ensure delivery of orders is managed within BaxterStorey service guidelines Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food handling guidelines, and sanitation standards Assist in monitoring and controlling expenses, including labour costs, food costs, and supplies, to meet goals. Ensure communication with the rest of the management team and kitchen is clear and the Hospitality Team are well briefed on future events and requirements. Provide friendly and professional customer service to clients and guests, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded. Assist with the setup and arrangement of event venues, including tables, chairs, decorations, and other equipment, as per the client's requirements. Oversee and support the preparation, presentation, and service of food and beverages during meeting/events, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained. Ensure efficient inventory management, including ordering and stocking of ingredients, supplies, and equipment. Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and accurate execution of menu items, maintaining consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control. Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards in the food preparation and service areas adhere to health and safety regulations. Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, providing necessary information and resolving issues in a professional manner. Attend all location management meetings as required Attend to any reasonable request made by the client or BaxterStorey Management Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty. Support the General Manager in recruiting, training, and supervising Hospitality staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions. Provide ongoing training and guidance to the staff, ensuring they are well-equipped to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high-quality food standards. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, cooperation, and professional development. Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies to drive revenue and increase profitability. Collaborate with the General Manager to analyse financial reports, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
