JOB DESCRIPTION: HOSPITALITY MANAGER

Responsibilities

THE ROLE WILL INVOLVE:

  • Management of day-to -day Food & Beverage operation, including all statutory requirements
  • With your team, planning and execution of events and functions to an exceptional standard.
  • Staff recruitment, development & training
    Salary range: £36,000 - £40,000 per annum (negotiable) subject to experience

  • Management of third party services e.g. clubhouse cleaning, various suppliers etc.

ROLE

To manage and oversee Hospitality & Events at a unique location including routine day to day clubhouse maintenance, stock and staff.

RESPONSIBILITY & DUTIES

  • Manage and oversee the front of house, Bar and catering operation in its entirety to meet targets in respect of GP, wastage and labour.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships, serving as our primary point of contact for large events and parties.
  • Plan and deliver functions and events to the requirements of the Club and their clients
  • Working with the senior management team to development and market events and hospitality to maximise use of the facilities at the venue.
  • Working with the senior management team to develop promotional materials, promotions or specialty packages to entice new customers.
  • Handle customer queries and complaints when necessary
  • Responsible for the interview and selection of departmental staff, including training, supervision, performance management and disciplinary matters.
  • Negotiate the purchase of supplies to ensure required margins are met whilst maintaining competitive “club prices” working with other senior managers.
  • Ensure the house and all facilities are maintained, clean and presentable at all times.
  • Ensure all statutory requirements and Club policies are met, managed and documented including department Health & Safety.
  • To comply with all legislative processes involved concerning the day-to-day operation of the Club regarding licencing law and employment law.
