Description

As the Hospitality Manager in our Assisted Living facilities, you’ll lead all aspects of hospitality services—kitchen, housekeeping, laundry, and sanitation—ensuring residents experience a clean, safe, and respectful environment. You’ll ensure full compliance with health regulations, manage budgets, and lead a dedicated team.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen, janitorial, and laundry operations
  • Ensure compliance with Alberta Health Standards Food Retail and Food Services Code and Serving Safer Food Guide
  • Maintain inspection readiness with accurate logs (e.g., temperature, pest control, cleaning)
  • Train, coach, and manage hospitality staff; conduct regular performance reviews
  • Develop and manage department goals and operating budgets
  • Conduct facility walk-throughs to identify maintenance and safety issues
  • Serve as the point of contact during public health inspections and ensure follow-up
  • Liaise with families, guardians, and care professionals
  • Support special events and develop optional hospitality offerings (e.g., in-house catering)
  • Participate in on-call rotations for emergency needs
