Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Taproom Manager is the on-the-floor leader of the Front of House (FOH) at Gladstone Brewing Co. This full-time, hands-on role is all about presence, energy, and direct team leadership. If you’re looking for an office job or prefer admin work behind the scenes, this is not the position for you.
This is a role for someone who thrives in the action — serving guests, managing flow, and keeping the team motivated through real-time decision-making and leadership. Office time will be minimal. You will oversee systems and operations, but your main job is to lead from the floor.
This position directly manages FOH Supervisors and Assistant Managers and serves as the final authority on service decisions, team accountability, and operational standards. While you oversee the scheduling process, the actual creation of schedules will be handled by the Assistant Manager team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESTEAM LEADERSHIP & OVERSIGHT

· Lead the FOH team across Lounge, Patio, and Coffee/Cocktail service areas
· Directly supervise FOH Supervisors and Assistant Managers
· Provide active, in-shift leadership and hands-on coaching
· Set clear service expectations and uphold accountability
· Run team meetings, 1:1s, and performance evaluations
· Build a culture of hustle, professionalism, and mutual support
