DAYS OFF: WEDNESDAY/THURSDAY

The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum is looking for second shift housekeepers who have excellent cleanliness standards to attend to all areas of The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. The goal is to enhance the customer experience by keeping our facilities in clean and orderly condition.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
  • Clean and sanitize toilets/urinals, countertops and sinks.
  • Stock bathrooms with appropriate supplies.
  • Excellent customer-oriented and friendly. This position is often in contact with Museum visitors and must maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Empty trash cans and dispose of waste.
  • Wipe down glass windows, doors, and cases to remove fingerprints.
  • Wipe down and clean out refrigerator.
  • Vacuuming and cleaning of carpets and rugs in galleries and offices.
  • Sweep and mop floors.
  • Maintains and cleans restrooms during evening events.
  • On occasion, may need to use a plunger to unclog a toilet.
  • Clean up spills or other accidents that may occur during the course of business.
  • Attendance is an essential function of this position.
