Bupa North Rocks is a modern care home set in a historic outer suburb of north-west Sydney surrounded by beautiful bush scenery and local reserves. It nears Lake Parramatta, North Parramatta shops and Westmead hospital. It consists of 124 beds, with various care units. Our primary goal is delivering person centered care focusing on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents. We have a diverse team of staff with great experience in Aged care. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Cleaning or catering experience preferred but not essential
• Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week
• You will have an understanding of work health, safety and hygiene practices and the ability to work unsupervised.

ABOUT THE ROLE

To deliver effective support to the hospitality function within the care home, including catering, cleaning and laundry
Use your fantastic food services and cleaning skills in a role where you really can make a difference by providing our residents with an empathetic and personal approach.

DUTIES

• Maintain legislated workplace health and safety, quality and hygiene standards
• Complete required documentation and reporting
• Respond to residents’ queries and requests
• Laundry duties include loading washers & dryers, sort linen, hang, fold, wrap or iron linen
• Catering / food services duties include assisting with basic food prep, provide meals and snacks, clear dining areas and dishwashing
• Cleaning duties include general cleaning; mopping, vacuuming, and waste collection in the residents’ rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areas
