HOSPITAILITY SUPERVISOR AT KINSBROOK VINEYARD, WEST SUSSEX

Position starting September 2025

ABOUT US:

Kinsbrook Vineyard is a progressive vineyard in the heart of West Sussex. We’re passionate about creating exceptional West Sussex wines and offering our guests a unique, relaxed but premium experience in a beautiful setting. As we grow, we’re looking for an enthusiastic Supervisor to join our team, delivering exceptional service and helping shape the guest experience across our restaurant, deli, shop and tasting spaces.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Be the warm, knowledgeable face of our restaurant, deli, and retail space (no robots here—just real hospitality).
  • Supervise service on the floor—set the vibe, support the team, and keep everything running smoothly.
  • Keep our deli and restaurant looking sharp: clean, stocked, and inviting.
  • Share your product knowledge with guests—whether it’s wine, food, or any question about Kinsbrook (this will be taught do not worry)
  • Make good coffees and drinks—barista or bar skills are a bonus
  • Handle POS and back-of-house systems like a pro (or be ready to learn).
  • Get involved in stock ordering, deliveries, and working with suppliers.
  • Bring your tech-savvy side to the table—help us improve systems and make service even smoother.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in a busy restaurant, café, or deli (you know how to keep cool when things heat up).
  • Barista training—bonus points if you can pour a mean flat white.
  • Some wine knowledge is great, but if you’re keen to learn, that’s just as good (we can support WSET training).
  • A friendly, approachable personality with top-notch communication skills.
  • Confident with POS systems; experience with stock/order software is a plus.
  • Comfortable with IT and open to learning new tools.
  • Calm, collected, and ready to take the lead when needed.
  • A true team player with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
