Job Details Job Location: Iron Works - Warwick, RI 02886 Salary Range: $16.00 - $18.00 Hourly Iron Works is looking for a Host to join the team. More gastropub than classic tavern, Iron Works serves innovative and updated takes on American classics, all from a building deeply steeped in the historical fabric of Warwick. Iron Works is proud to be part of the Newport Restaurant Group! About the Position: In the Host role, you will coordinate seating of guests to provide fast and courteous service. About You: You are friendly, outgoing, and driven to succeed. You have a strong passion for hospitality and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment. Essential Duties: Schedules dining reservations and arranges parties or special services for diners Greets guests, escorts them to tables, and provides menus Answers phone Communicates guests’ needs to service staff and management. Qualifications Qualifications: Must be 18+ Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed – Sunday and AM availability is required! Restaurant and OpenTable experience are preferred however, we are willing to train the right candidate. Previous experience in a high-volume polished casual environment is preferred. Skills & Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Outgoing and friendly Problem-solving skills Must be able to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift and move 25-50 pounds Be collaborative, using a team approach to creating an equitable workplace environment and have respectful working relationships
