As a key part of the guest experience, you will help guide guests through a thoughtful dining journey, delivering genuine service and creating a positive, memorable experience.  The HOST will be the first point of contact for our guest setting the tone for a warm and welcoming atmosphere and commitment to exceptional hospitality.  Job Responsibilities:  * Warmly greet the guest in a timely, friendly and professional manner. Thank guest on their way out to complete the guest experience * Work closely with servers and management to coordinate seating, maintaining optimal dining room flow and accommodate special requests * Provide guests with detailed information about the menu and offer recommendations based on guest performances * Set ambiance (music, lights and cleanliness) of the dining room for an enjoyable and memorable guest performance * Keep the Front-of-House (FOH) area organized, clean and inventing * Address and resolve guest customers promptly, escalating issues to management when necessary * Assist with updating reservation log, resetting tables and other administrative tasks as needed * Maintain up to date knowledge of current promotions, events and specials to effectively communicate with guests Qualifications: * 6 + months prior experience as host preferred * Excellent verbal communication and positive interpersonal skills required * Strong customer service skills * Strong multitasking and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment * Ability to acquire a Food Handlers license, Sexual Harassment certification, RBS (alcohol) certification (before or within 2 + weeks of hiring) A few reasons why you'll love your job:  * Opportunity to be a part of a growing and passionate company and team * Unique opportunity to bridge cultures through food * Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision * Family meals included Equal Employment Opportunities (EEO):  Burma Food Group provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics and other protected classes.
